How to view more camera and photo information than iPhoto will show you.
Wednesday, March 10th, 2010iPhoto is a great photo organization tool, in-fact it’s actually the one I currently prefer. However sometimes it’s terrible for reading the information of a photo.
First attempt I tried “Get Info” from the “File” menu, it displays me a map where I can enter the name of the place the photo was taken and a small description… Not what I’m after.

Next I tried clicking on the “i” button in the bottom left corner, it shows me some information… Not as much as I’d like…

I want to know what camera was used and the camera settings (such as ISO, exposure time, f number…). Finally I found it under “Extended Photo Info” in the “Photo” menu… Still it’s a bit limited.

The picture information viewer in Fun Photos will show you everything that it can think off. Here’s how to use it.
- Open Fun Photos (Get the FREE trial).
- Use the browser and navigate to the same photo, click once on the photo.
- Select “Get Info” from the file menu or use the Toolbar button.
Wow… look at all that information, so much more information. I can see all the camera settings, even the aspect ratio of the picture and what megapixels it is! I never knew that my camera was using 180 dpi. With Funtastic Photos I can see what white balance settings I was using.

In this tutorial I’m going to show you how you can create a beautiful memorable Christmas card. I can pretty much guarantee that your card will be different from everyone else’s. So I’m going to walk you through enhancing the photo, framing it, adding a caption and then finally printing it. I would recommend getting some heavier paper with either a photo gloss or photo matte finish, it’s up to which you choose. Also you should check out your local stationary store, many carry blank greeting card and envelope packs, just right for you to print your cards onto. You can also get a sample pack from our favorite paper suppliers, Red River Paper for only $12.49 shipped [
