Thank You letter from the Red Cross
Over the weekend I received a thank you letter from the Red Cross. Below is the last paragraph.
The (Japanese) Government has opened many evacuation centers (halls, gyms etc) which are currently housing people. JRCS (Japanese Red Cross) are supporting these centers with health, psychological support and relief items. So far, 122,500 blankets and 8,600 emergency kits have already been distributed, with many more on the way. Ohanaware Limited's (this includes all who participated in our Japan Tsunami Appeal) swift response to the disasters is greatly appreciated; we are able to offer lifesaving relief to survivors in these critical first few days of the crisis, and also in the weeks and months to come.
Thank you again for helping us to be there when it matters most.
All in all I would like to thank everyone who participated in the Ohanaware Japan Tsunami appeal, together we helped to make a difference and save lives.
